The aim of this event is to help you to feel confident in supporting women while they go through the menopause. You may not work with them directly for their menopause symptoms, but the menopause can affect many different aspects of womens lives so we will be helping you to navigate feel comfortable supporting women through this life stage.

The event will run from 10am-1pm and we will be sending out the recording to all with a ticket.

We will be covering so many different aspects of the menopause and we have some amazing speakers to support and talk you through these areas:

  • Overview of the menopause
  • Physical changes
  • Heart health
  • Brain and psychological health

Our brilliant speakers are:

Dr Laura Wyness

Dr Laura Wyness is a Registered Nutritionist who loves to translate science into practical food-based advice.

Laura specialises in helping women make positive dietary changes, specifically around midlife and menopause, to ensure their body functions well and they feel good. She has provided training for fellow health professionals on diet and menopause and has recently co-authored a book and online courses on Eating Well for Menopause.

Winner of the Caroline Walker Trust ‘Freelance Nutritionist of the Year’ Award, Laura has over 15-years’ experience working in food innovation, academic research and has expertise in literature reviews and nutrition writing.

Lucy Jones ANutr

Join Registered Associate Nutritionist Lucy Jones to learn about the role of food and nutrition for brain health at menopause. You’ll leave this session understanding the specific nutrients and foods to consider with patients and you’ll also explore the role of gut health in brain health.

Lucy Jones is a Registered Associate Nutritionist who works with women – particularly women at perimenopause and menopause – to empower healthier food choices without restriction. She’s on a mission to offer simple, realistic, and accessible nutrition support and founded her private practice, Lutrition, in 2021 where she supports clients both one-to-one and in group workshops. Alongside Lutrition, Lucy is an integral part of the Harley Street at Home Menopause team where she is Head of Nutrition and delivers weekly webinars on nutrition topics to support menopause.

Claire Mace

Claire is the face behind Claire Mace Nutrition. Her journey into this field was fuelled by a personal battle with health issues and fascination with the human body and behaviours.

Her driving passion lies in the realm of women’s health, particularly Menopause and PCOS. She takes immense pride in specialising in this area and has a clear mission: to empower women to reclaim their well-being and embrace happiness.

Claires focus will be around the symptoms and physical changes that occur during the menopause and she will give you nutrition and lifestyle factors that you will be able to advise the people you work with.
