This webinar will approach the wider narrative of Learning Disabilities and Nutrition. You will discuss what a learning disability is and why it can create barriers to a balanced diet, why a personalised nutrition approach is key, and the benefits of running nutrition education classes in the community setting. The webinar will finish by exploring how to make nutrition education more accessible.

The learning objectives for the webinar are to:
1. To understand the barriers to a healthy diet for the learning disability population
2. To discuss how a learning disability may impact diet choices (i.e. autism, dysphagia and sensory eating)
3. To apply practices to make nutrition education more accessible to individuals with learning disabilities.
