Join Emily to look at the menstrual cycle in active females from an exercise physiology and nutrition perspective! In this talk Emily is going to give an overview of how the menstrual cycle affects our physiology and answer the questions, should females be ‘periodising’ their training around their menstrual cycles and do we need to alter our nutrition to support training around the menstrual cycle? This will be an interactive session where interaction and discussion is encouraged.
