Claire and Sally consider how nutrition education can support healthier choices. They briefly touch on the possibility for long-term benefits: the potential to decrease the rise in obesity rates and other diet-related health concerns alongside improved academic performance and behaviour.

The presentation highlights the collective responsibility for Food and Nutrition: Parents, teachers, caterers, government, and nutritionists all play roles in promoting food and nutrition education.

Sally discusses how caterers are working to ensure meals meet nutritional standards.

Claire reflects on Government initiatives like the School Food Plan and how this influenced her practice as a headteacher and her current role at The Nutrition Advisory Te
