Laura Street, senior nutritionist at Marks and Spencer has worked as a nutritionist for 17years, working for companies such as England Rugby Football Union, Tesco and Kellogg. This session will provide an insight into the type of work conducted by a nutritionist working in the food industry and delve into how you take scientific evidence and convert that into product and marketing messaging to enhance the nation’s diet.

- After this session you will understand some of the key tasks a nutritionist in industry carries out and the role of a health professional in food industry employment
- Understand how the science and practical elements of nutrition flow to take science into product and marketing messages for consumers: using the example of vitamin D.
